Do you own a musical instrument in home? Have you seen, touched and used it? Do you like natural musical sounds from your instrument?
I have 3 instruments in home. An acoustic guitar, a keyboard and a flute. I like acoustic guitar mostly. I used to play it even when there is no power in our home and when everything seems to be silent my guitar sound wakes up.lol

Hi Shiny, I love music too. I used to have a guita, and it's a gift from one of our friend, i like it very much, and i love it very much. But unfortunately, someone stolen it when we move the house. I played the piano & organ, and I used to have an organ in my house. I prefer the sound by a piano, however I learned organ first at the initial stage. It's was a fun instrument, and it helps alot by knowing how to play one too! [cwong77]

I have no musical instruments at home and I have no musical experience as in the instruments. I would love to play the guitar or the drums if I was given the chance to. I have been spending my time over at my friends house since they have a complete set of instruments and they are always jamming there and I will be the one doing the vocal for them as they are playing the instruments. It feels good when playing music because it do reduce stress and depression and besides it powers us up! [maikarumike]

hello there.... yes i have musical instruments here in the house...i have a tambourine,bungkaka,kubing, and RAIN MAKER. my favirote is the rain maker... most of these instrument are a native from my country(here in the Philippines)my favorite is the RAIN MAKER it is called rain maker because before this instrument was use to call the rain. it is very nice to listen to... it is as if you are beside river or stream and you hear the flow of the water... it is very soothing to the mind and body... that is why i really like it... have a nice day.... Me, I really really love acoustic guitar. Its like my passion. Through it, I was able to compose songs. It really fun playing with it plus you don`t need to have any electricity to play it. What I really like about it is that it creates such harmonious song and really keeps my passion for music alive. Now I consider myself a music guitar freak to be honest and I don`t mind. I have a guitar, a flute, a keyboard, a band lyre and a harmonica. Sad to say but I dont know how to play the harmonica. I love playing my guitar, I pratice everyday just to sharpen my skills. I also play the keyboard flute and the band lyre but I just know a certain number of songs.. *lol* [J3rvic]

well, for me, I got a harmonica, but it's an old version one, soo, not much I can do with it. . a recorder (forgot the name, it's like a flute). . a violin, recently fix it (yay!). . a Chinese violin, I have the lower sound, it's called "er hu". . an electric guitar, but the cable broken, soo I'm playing with no amplifier, -_- And lastly, a classical guitar, oh man, I love this instrument than any other. . I myself play the trombone, and it's one of my favorite things to do. I own three different trombones, a regular, a step-up, and a bass trombone. It has helped me incredibly and I have been playing since about 5th grade. I know it has kept me out of a lot of things that I know I should not be involved in. :) [ashley1171]

Hello phillip_shiny!!! Currently I have only acoustic guitar with me in my home. Well I love to play guitar and sing with it, and singing is my hobby. I also like to compose and I use guitar for composing. Guitar is my only friend, when I am alone. Also I am wishing to have a keyboard or piano. I have always loved to compose new music and I think Piano would be the best one for this task. But the nice pianos are really very expensive that I can't offer right now. I am just a student right now, and my parents won't give me that expensive gift. Well I hope I will finish my study soon, get a job and get a nice piano in my room huh. Wating for that day... I've got a set of drums, various keyboards, piano, electric piano and im sure theres a few accustic guitars around too. Unfortunately i dont get much time to play any of them, however my fav has got to be the drums. Keeping the beat and making a good rhythm [dave_cmc]

well i'm trying to buy a guitar with the money i make online. so the only instrument i have in my home right now is my piano and my clarinet. techniquely thats not even mine its the schools. and the piano is mine but i can never play it because it takes like 8 to 10 batteries and those batteries will die very quickly. and i lost the plung because i hid it one time because my family comes over alot and everytime they come in they would all run over to my piano and play and there would be fighting over it. one time my cousin even spilled pop in it. and i thought the only way to get them to stop all this was to hide the cord then i forgot where i hid it. so basically i never played it again after that really. Hey! I have a piano and an electric guitar at home but am not that great at them :P; my brother seems to be better at them! I prefer playing the guitar really as I find the piano a bit boring and typical; for instance, in my school, loads of people are good at the piano yet fewer are good at the guitar, I wanted to do something a bit different from just the piano. My parents sometimes moan at me for how loud it gets though when I practice! [cosmicthing2]

I used to own an acoustic guitar. I sold it and now I have an electric guitar, guitar effects and a vintage guitar amps. I also have a harmonica which belongs to an ex-bandmate. I only used it once but just kept in the drawer afterwards. When I was in grade school, my mom bought a Casio organ. I never learned how to play it although it would have been cool to learn piano. Hi philip, I always loves to listen to music. I loved to have a instrument in my house. Unfortunately, there are no music instrument teaching institutions near my house. So, i cannot learn music. I asked my dad to buy me a keyboard in my child hood. He bought me a kid's keyboard which is small in size just little lesser in size than our computer keyboard. I was enjoying alot with playing with that keyboard. After a month, that keyboard is damaged as i was a playful kid. Then my dad didn't bought me any music instruments. Yes, the only music instrument i have in my home is that broken keyboard. I don't know it is still there inside my house or outside the house for exchanging plastics for some money.I don't know. dear friend, I have one key board, 3-4 flutes and one set of tabla at home. My husband is a great music lover and use to play everything but now he is busy in his buisness so never gets time to play anything but we have kept open the keyboard for my children so they are also fond of playing these things. we all like music very much. my little son has learned some of the tunes on that. I play the flute, I currently have 2 flutes right now. I played it not too long ago. I really haven't had the chance to play as much as I use to. My fingers I bet have definitely slowed down. [dreamr802]

I am a pianist and own a clavinova piano at home. I love to play it, as I love music. I was once a professional musician until things got hard for musicians when live musicians were replaced by disco and karioke in the UK. But I continue to play as I feel it is a great mood enhancer and keeps the brain focused and working properly. I have a guitar in my house. I am learning guitar so I play quite often. I had a mouth organ also in my house. It was gifted to me by one of my father's friend. Nobody was interested in playing that so I gifted it to my nephew (hopefully he is using it). But I feel that atleast one should try learning atleast 1 musical instrument. I have a couple of keyboards, a violin and an accordian. I haven't played any of them in a long time. My husband is home all day, every day and I won't play around anyone. The accordian was my mother's, she took lessons when she was 14, if she were alive, she'd be 74 so the accordian is about 60 years old and the bellows are still good. I treasure it. As a child, I took piano lessons, I loved the piano. The larger of the two keyboards was an economical way to have a piano but not quite the same. I was teaching myself to play the violin about 10 years ago, then my daughter and her daughter moved in with us, I was the resident babysitter so the violin was put away. I regret not getting back into playing, I really enjoyed it. Sometimes I help my grand daughter learn some notes, the smaller keyboard is for the grand kids but only one grand daughter has shown any interest so we have fun while she learns. At least I have something I can hand down to the younger generations, that and my crochet. [tcup345]

we do have some musical instruments and they are toys. however, since we have the musical triangle and and that thing that we use to shake and hit our palms with to produce a sound (i forgot what's its called. however, it is used in that song walk like an egyptian by the bangles) i guess they could be called legitimate musical instruments for i think they don't differ from the real ones happy. So I do pick up a bit on guitar when I saw my fifth brother practice. He pick up himself too, no proper training! Now my second sister pick up guitar too...but she hardly practice nowadays due to work overload.. I have 3 Acoustic Guitars at home, one for me and one each for my children! We have never had lessons and cannot play very well at all, but it is fun to just pick them up and strum away!!! I also have an African Djembe drum! I have had lessons for this style of drumming and I really enjoy it! The guitar is my sisters.Since I am staying away from home persueing technical studies, so I just have the keyboard with me, which I play sometimes. I have fascination for saxophone and wan't to own. When there is no power and you have a bunch of friends around to play some instruments.......its just heaven. i do . i have a flute back from middle school . no idea why i still have it. i dropped out of band after lik 2 years , since then iv touched it maybe....3 times . i also have a keyboard . it hasent been played in a while because we lost the cord when we moved . but after we found it my nephews play it a lot . i like the keyboard more because for 1 it doesnt tire me out after a few minutes of playing and 1 because its just alot more fun ! I certainly do not know how to play any musical instrument. I love music, and music is really the only thing that can move me emotionally, and in the end, physically. Music influences me so much, and i believe that i am just one of the normal people that can really be influenced emotionally by music. However, my regret is that i can not play any musical instrument, except the stereo. This is the only thing that i can control that can produce music. [safejunk]
