I think 'Kuch Kuch Ho ta hai' is most popular Hindi songs blush [srikandi19]
Well there are Latin Chants that my brother listens to because it's very relaxing and puts you in a meditative mood. There was also a time when Taiwanese, and Korean songs invaded our music world because of the entry of Asian Soap operas into our country. Some melodies actually sound great but we just don't understand the words. Actually, listening to Foreign Languages does sound funny sometimes. Like someone talking nonsense only because we really don't understand. It's probably that way too for a foreigner to listen to our own language. [Theresaaiza]
Yups .. listening foreign songs is fun although we don't know the means. But we can learning ( little ) different Language from that. [srikandi19]
English songs are still the best to me, follwed by my cherished korean songs, it's because i like to watch korean dramas and my songs are mostly soundtracks of the dramas or movies. I love some of the korean voices, some of them have really great voices....I don't usually listen to the lyrics so i'll just listen to the song as a whole and if it is nice then i'll just continue listening to them...^_^ [mira91]
I like foreign languages and I admit that I like listening to some foreign songs. I am very fluent in English and my native language Tagalog. I seldom listen to Tagalog songs as I find it boring and nonsense most of the time. I listening and singing English songs. I can also understand a little bit of other languages like Japanese, Spanish, French and German. I also like listening to songs from these foreign languages even I only understand some of part of it. I don't know why and can't really explain it but thats the way I am. [sophie_dfuss]
I just can English passive, so I like listening English Songs and would improve my vocabulary. [srikandi19]
I speak both English and Korean and am currently learning Spanish at school. I like listening to American rock, rap, and pop songs while I like to listen to Korean pop (K-pop) ballad, and R&B songs. I find songs a great and fun way to learn Spanish as well because the good ones have a really catchy tune to it that makes it addicting. So yes, I like listening songs of different languages. [snam23]
I am never hear Korean Pop, in my country Japan Pop (J-Pop) more be popular. [srikandi19]
i do actually. i have 2 nieces that are chinese and i like to listen to their music. my hubby is german so i have listened to many german songs in the past (i especially like their christmas music! i also live in canada and we have two official languages here, french and english. i am english but i love to listen to french songs becuase i can understand some of it and i want to learn more french. [cher913]
Our language is called Filipino, but I really enjoy listening to english, chinese, japanese songs... I also love some Korean songs... ^_^ [jd107nette]
i love to listen a lot of songs though if they are not from my mother language. i am from southern part of india. My mother tongue is tamil. but i love to listen to a lots of hindi songs and english songs as well. as of me music has no barriers [vinkam]
I'm an American, and I only speak English. But I like some songs in German, Tagalog, Spanish. I've often wondered about French music, but I haven't found anywhere to listen to French pop. I also like some J-Pop. [skeeter_fleet]
i like english songs and some times bagali song although i dont understand but......few words i know bagali. [success_kushagra]
Personally, I love listening to all kinds of music, regardless of the languages it is written in. I especially love listening to music of languages that are other than English, in addition to listening to music that is written in English. I believe that music is beautiful no matter what language it is written in. [Keola12]
haha.. I did start such a post before too.. hehe ^_^ well, i do listen to songs of different languages too because some songs actually sounds nicer in that particular language, instead of it bing in english or chinese.. lol =D I do listen to malay songs, jap as well as korean songs.. Though i dun really understand their lyrics, but i like the melody and tune in them ^_^ Thai songs are nice too, especially by male singers ^_^ [kun2349]
My first priority is chinese music. Though i don't understand what they are singing, it's the melody that captures me. I love listening to the tune. It's only when It take time to really sit down and analyze the piece that I realize what a meaningful song it is. Second, i would listen to english music. I like more of those ballad type music. It's very soothing and relaxing and I could understand it which is a plus. Then i would go for Korean music. Even though I don't understand it, i feel like I could just feel it. I like exploring other music too. But these three languages are my tops. Music is my life and it is my passion. Keeping listening and singing! [mzj033y]
I like to listen Canton and English songs, I used to not understand the english songs so I looked up the lyrics and learned. Mandarin songs are fine but I won't particular choose it to listen. I don't like other languages at all besides these three languages. [mermaidivy]
I really don't like listening to songs that I don't understand, but I speak english, spanish and portuguese, so that's what I listen to. Sometimes I listen to stuff that I don't understand because I like the sound of it. There are some songs from India that are fun, I like listening to them, and I have some Japanese, Chinese and philipino friends and they have music player on their blogs so I'm forced to listen to it, some are good but some are weird... [x0xpinkyx0x]
hahah, actually I don't really like songs in other languages. I speak English, its my first and only fluent language. I do like some Spanish and Korean songs though :) just the catchy ones. but I definitely prefer just straight up English. if I can understand it, I find that the song means more. I mean, even if I'm listening to a Spanish song, I often know the words and meanings in English, but it doesnt mean as much when I'm listening to it. and I looove songs with meanings =P so other languages aren't really my thing when it comes to music. no offense to other cultures and everything, like their music is good and I respect it, but I just don't so much like listening to it. (: peace ! [cassyisme]
Good Question, and yes I like music in Italian,Spanish and Japanese. I think we all benefit from experiencing other cultures. [acekala]
I love to listen to music in different languages and I often listen to music in languages that I don't understand. I collect music from a lot of different countries and whenever I visit a new country I buy some cds, because I want to get to know some of the local singers/bands. My friends from other countries also send me music sometimes and I am always really excited to get some new music. I have music from Estonia, Latvia, Poland, the Czech republic, Italy, Spain, France, the Netherlands, India, Thailand, Indonesia, Japan, Vietnam etc. [Porcospino]
Yes, I like listening songs of foreign languages. When I Travel to countries in different parts of the world, I always listen to the songs in the language of the country. That is an excellent way of getting familiar with the culture and the language. In fact, I have a collection of CD's now. [greenline]
No, I don't like to listen to a song in the language I can not understand... like the Italian, Spanish or other languages? I don't like to listen to it. What's the use of listening when I don't understand it? [Bebs08]
i don't listen to songs that i can't understand what they are saying i can't enjoy the music that way lol well, i guess it depends on the song but still i prefer being able to know what the lyrics are in the music and being able to understand them. [sameroad]
I love this Korean song, even if I can't understand the lyrics I was able to understand the meaning when I watched its MTV and saw the translation.Until now I still listen to it and it still makes we ache inside. [angel_rain]
I am a Chinese, but I enjoy listening to English songs. Occasionally I also listen to French songs. I don't care what language it will be. As long as it's a good song, it doesn't matter even if I don't understand the language. The music should have no border:) I love China [youless]
I do, actually. I like listening to songs from places like Iceland. I like listening to native american songs (despite my heritage, I don't understand the words in them), Japanese pop and rock has habits of getting under my skin. You don't have to understand it, to like it. [xParanoiax]
I do like to all the different musical beats and rhythms in a different language song. Even though I can't understand them. Sometimes the songs have subtitles which are useful.. [chunijole]
Yes, I do. I love litening to Arabic music. And Indian music, too. They have this different tunes that can make your hips and your body bump. happy [hornetlover]
I like listening English song too, my English is not very good, so I listen the song to improve my English, and I also like the Chinese songs. [kindy198636]
Yes, I do like listening to songs of different languages. One thing is always said about music in my Country: "Music has no Language!" This is what I believe in. I love songs for the melody, for the music, for the strength and soothening effect it carries with it! I do listen to songs in Hindi, English, Regional Languages of India, Chinese etc. The criteria is, it should taste sweet to my ears! [amitksing]

Yes, I like listening songs of different language. I love English songs, Korean Songs and Chinese Songs. Most of the foreign songs comes from a movie and tv soundtrack. And then when I research the songs on You Tube, the learning of the songs from foreign country grow and grow. [grecychunny26]
althought I can't make sense about the lyric, but the music give different feeling.throught it ,I feel as if I go abroad.there is so much country in this world.so different culture has different music [guozehua]
Yes i do but it really depends on the type of music. If it's metal then i guess i can listen to them all day without really trying to understand what the band are saying. I like foreign bands like Rammstein and some Norwegian bands. I like Rammstein because of the ambient of their song. Even though i don't understand what they are saying, but it feels to me like i can relate no matter what. Though i need to at least know the theme of the music at least. Black metal bands doesn't necessarily be n English because the lyrics are mostly inaudible. [modstar]
I like listening songs of a different language especially if it's one I don't know simply because most lyrics are crappy and generic, like "I'll love you forever baby". Listening to Foreign Language songs allows me to appreciate the music while blocking out the lyrics. [saffrondreams]
I'm an avid fan of Anime OST. the lyrics is in Japanese. But I still feel the melody of it even though I can't understand it. Specially the songs from Ayumi Hamasaki and Utada Hikaru. Just simply love their song. And their voice is very good as well. [kodigo]
I strongly believe that anything that is sweet to hear need not have any language barrier.I listen to Tamil,Malayalam,Hindi,Arabic and English music and have a great collection of them too.Music in any form is always a bliss.happy [balasri]
Of course I like all the songs sound good.I am learning English like you too.I set my cell phone in English and listen English songs ,I can sing some english songs well.^_^ I like the music from Vietnam,DEM LAO XAO.It sounds very good, you can try to listen. [Ritasmile]
i only listen to English, spanish and Filipino songs. those were only the languages that i know of and familiar with. listening to songs with lyrics that you don't understand is useless. yes, we need to listen mostly to English songs to learn english more because it's the medium we use to communicate anywhere in the world. [flagella08]
I like listening songs in English and Hindi only. Although most of the time I can't catch the words which are being sung by English singers but thanks to internet that I can download the lyrics and by reading them I can understand the meaning of the song. Believe me that I felt more pleasure after reading the lyrics! [sanuanu]

I don't usually listen to songs of different languages. Most of time I only listen to songs of Mandarin and English. I used to listen Japanese and Korean songs back in high school. But I found it was easier for me to really like the song if I can understand the lyrics. It's troublesome to read the translations. [CornicSoup]
I don't know about Japan language. But when I heard Japan songs I feel happy, even if it does not understand the lyrics blush [srikandi19]
I don't usually listen to songs of languages that I don't understand. Most of time I only listen to Mandarin and English songs. I used to listen Japanese and Korean songs back in high school. But I found it was difficult for those songs to be my favorite if I can't understand the lyrics. Reading the translations is really troublesome. [CornicSoup]
Oops!! I thought I was failed posting the previous one.. *blush* [CornicSoup]

I like some French and Spanish songs, I don't even try to understand them I just like the way the words sound with the music. I also like the beat in many Spanish songs. [savypat]
For me, it's all about the words. I have to have great words or I can't listen to anything even if I understand it-unless I'm working out. I guess I might like songs in different languages then, if it has teh abilit to keep me punped up and stuff. I love anything techno when I'm at the gym. I lisdten to things I'm ashamed to admit I have on my ipod then but whatever works! [csrobins]
I don't listen to songs of other languages. I might have to try doing that sometime. I just wonder if it would be hard for me to enjoy the music, if I can't understand the lyrics. [cortney09]
I will have to try listening to a song of another language and feeling the rythm as you suggested. Thanks. [cortney09]
i dont mind listening to songs of different language if i like the music and rhythm. i love listening to mandarin songs in particular, and sometimes japanese too happy [kevsgirlalways]
me too, although I do not understand the lyrics. but if rhythm its good and nice in hear. I like to listen to the song. [srikandi19]
I like Japanise music a lot. Originally it was video game music that got me into it, both lyric version and not, but I've found some others I enjoy as well. I can't always understand it, but I do tend to look up translations from time to time. With the sudden popularity of the music you can actually find English versions at times, but it's not always the same. [jsmith12]
I do like to listen to songs of different languages, but only the languages i understand;french, english, italian, portuguese, because i like to know what they are singing about. [jewel76]

in the Philippines, some korean songs or Chinese songs hit our charts. Its a tradition which are highly influenced by the tv novels being aired on national tv. Even though filipinoes does not understand the song in korean, chinese or mexican language, they still enjoy it and even become fanathics. Its such a tradition that people enjoy. They can relate to the song base on what they understand about the love story the song is referring to. =) [doncruise21]
