Cd Case Size What size pixels should i be using when creating a cd cover in PS when somebody asks me to send them the cd cover file for printing what do i send jpeg i measured a cd cover and i got 4 75x 4 75 but when i open up a psd file that size its way too small any help
I bought a Playstation 1 game that has no cover art so I downloaded the art and want to print it out I don t want to waste paper trying to figure out the right size to fit in the case and I don t want to use a program to size it automatically because my experience with those has been very unfruitful I don t need to know any 4 x 4 175 or The default image size is 1600 x 1200 pixels 180 dpi I transfer the images to my computer and save each one as a tiff I adjust levels and save again in a different folder I then crop to 4x6 and save again in a different folder burn

I have a cilent asking me to create for them a foldable gift voucher they want it the size of a long rectangular envelope and to be able to simply print once side then another and fold it in half Think of it almost like when you make a birthday card and you fold the paper in half there s a top and then there s the inside This trick allows the compression algorithms to do a better job and get you a smaller file size If one pixel blur does not reduce the final file size enough try 2 pixels of blur or more if needed Eventually I believe you will get the file size you want yet you need to check the quality of the image
